Phoenix Preceptor is an independent service that helps University of Phoenix nursing students find and secure a qualified preceptor and an approved practicum, residency, or applied-practice site. We source, vet, and prepare placements for the university's approval.
We are not the University of Phoenix. References to University of Phoenix programs, requirements, and trademarks are for identification and descriptive purposes only and do not imply any relationship. Program details on this site reflect publicly available University of Phoenix information and the Nursing Program Handbook and can change; the authoritative source for your requirements is your own current Nursing Student Handbook and your program faculty.
What we do not guarantee
We work hard to secure an approvable preceptor and site, but there are important limits on what we can promise, and we want them stated clearly:
- We do not approve placements. Final approval of any site or preceptor rests solely with the University of Phoenix.
- We do not guarantee a specific preceptor, site, hours, certification, licensure, or program outcomes. Declines and delays are part of any real placement search.
- Nothing we offer is a tuition refund or money-back guarantee of any kind, and we make no promise about your academic results.
- Program information is provided as-is for general guidance, and you are responsible for confirming your specific requirements with the university.
Our fee, described on the cost page, is for our sourcing, vetting, and approval-preparation work. It is never a payment to a preceptor, and you pay only once your preceptor and approved site are confirmed.
